Michael Mercier
Founder and President Mike has conducted numerous research studies on smartphone addiction with teens, parents, teachers, college students, and employees. He has spoken to schools, corporations, colleges and summer camps. He has held sessions on smartphone addiction at numerous conferences, including educational technology, summer camp, and marketing conferences. He has presented his research to members of Congress and Senate staff, and Congressman Brad Wenstrup made a House floor speech about his findings on cyberbullying. He has been interviewed on a variety of radio shows around the country. He holds a BA in Psychology from Vassar College, an MBA in Marketing from the University of Michigan, and an MS in Information Systems from the University of Cincinnati. Heidi Cayer Operations Director After graduating college, Heidi held the position of Diet Technician at both Beth Israel Hospital and Lahey Clinic, and as Nutritionist at the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Nutrition program. After business school, she held the position of Promotion Coordinator at Kraft Foods, Promotion Manager and Research Manager at Clorox, Promotion Manager at Nestle, and Regional Vice President of Marketing at Segment Promotions. She has a BS in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Connecticut. She is currently pursuing an MS in Nutrition. Heidi lives in the San Francisco East Bay. |
Jonathan Cahill
Marketing Director Jon has over 20 years of experience in retail, agency services, multi-media design and business strategy. He is currently the General Manager of Maestranzi Bros., an outdoor power equipment retailer. Previously, he was the marketing director at Landry & Arcari Rugs and Carpeting. Prior to his time at Landry & Arcari, he was CMO of McDougall Interactive where he was responsible for the creative output for a 30 client roster. Jon was then Director, Account Services at Bait &Tackle Ad Company/Production Blue from Feb. 2010-June 2012. In this role, he managed the day-to-day operations of a full-service advertising agency: accounting, contract generation, maintain client relations, managed sale pipeline, and lead generation. From June 2004-May 2009, Jon was Co Founder and COO of Stellio LLC, where he launched a print and web design firm that merged with Versacor Inc. Jon holds a BA from the College of the Holy Cross, as well as graduate certificates from Lesley University (graphic design) and Boston University (project management). He resides on Boston's North Shore. |
