Founder and President
Michael has led Screen Education in its major initiatives. He has planned and executed its research with teens and schools, shared his insights on screen addiction at conferences, in radio interviews, in webinars and articles, and consulted with schools.
Earlier in his career he held positions in management consulting in the healthcare industry, market research, a local daily newspaper, and at PCWEEK Magazine. He then spent a decade in the textbook publishing industry as a Marketing Manager, Acquisitions Editor, and Publisher. He then returned to the market research industry, running his own firm for a decade.
He holds a BA in Psychology from Vassar College, an MBA in Marketing from the University of Michigan, and an MS in MIS from the University of Cincinnati. He resides in Cincinnati.
After graduating college, Heidi held the position of Diet Technician at both Beth Israel Hospital and Lahey Clinic, and as Nutritionist at the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Nutrition program. After business school, she held the position of Promotion Coordinator at Kraft Foods, Promotion Manager and Research Manager at Clorox, Promotion Manager at Nestle, and Regional Vice President of Marketing at Segment Promotions. She has a BS in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Connecticut. She is currently pursuing an MS in Nutrition. Heidi lives in the San Francisco East Bay.
Jon has over 20 years of experience in retail, agency services, multi-media design and business strategy.
He is currently the General Manager of Maestranzi Bros., an outdoor power equipment retailer. Previously, he was the marketing director at Landry & Arcari Rugs and Carpeting.
Prior to his time at Landry & Arcari, he was CMO of McDougall Interactive where he was responsible for the creative output for a 30 client roster. Jon was then Director, Account Services at Bait &Tackle Ad Company/Production Blue from Feb. 2010-June 2012. In this role, he managed the day-to-day operations of a full-service advertising agency: accounting, contract generation, maintain client relations, managed sale pipeline, and lead generation. From June 2004-May 2009, Jon was Co Founder and COO of Stellio LLC, where he launched a print and web design firm that merged with Versacor Inc.
Jon holds a BA from the College of the Holy Cross, as well as graduate certificates from Lesley University (graphic design) and Boston University (project management). He resides on Boston's North Shore.
