High School Teacher Survey/2021

Screen Education's past research has found that smartphone addiction is  corroding the environments of two important realms of our lives: school and work.

We wondered whether high school teachers were sufficiently frustrated by this that they would welcome bold, broad-based solutions.

In order to find out we partnered InnovateMR and statistician Glenn Stark  during the summer of 2021 to survey high school teachers.
In addition to exploring  their views  on a set of broad solutions, we also explored how widespread among students the problem of smartphone addiction is, the consequences of smartphone addiction, how frustrated students are by their smartphone addiction, and the extent to which they believe students want tot address their own smartphone addiction.
