We wondered whether managers were so frustrated by employees' smartphone use during work that they felt smartphone addiction should be addressed while people are young, and whether we should use bold, broad-based solutions to the problem.

To find out we partnered with InnovateMR   and statistician Glenn Stark   to conduct a national survey workplace managers.

We also explored how widespread smartphone addiction is our workplaces, the consequences of smartphone addiction, how frustrated employees are by their smartphone addiction, and the extent to which managers  want to address their employees' smartphone addiction.
