Workplace Manager Survey/2021

Screen Education's  past research has found that smartphone addiction is  corroding the environments of two important realms of our lives: school and work.

We wondered whether workplace managers were sufficiently frustrated by the  corrosive  impact   their employees' excessive smartphone use that they felt that we need to address smartphone addiction while people are young, and whether we should use bold, broad-based solutions to the problem.

In order to find out we partnered with InnovateMR
and statistician Glenn Stark   to conduct a national survey workplace managers.

In addition to examining  managers' views  on broad solutions to smartphone addiction, we also explored how widespread smartphone addiction is our workplaces, the consequences of smartphone addiction, how frustrated employees are by their smartphone addiction, and the extent to which managers  want to address their employees' smartphone addiction.
