Screen Education delivered 3 different sessions at the Ohio Educational Technology Conference (OETC).

In one session we presented the findings of our "Teen Smartphone Addiction National Survey", which we completed in partnership with
EMI - Research Solutions and Glenn Stark.

In our second session we co-presented with Dave Kraft a framework to help teachers think through how they can have an impact on tech addiction a
mong their students.  Mr. Kraft is a
teacher at Calvert Catholic in Tiffin, OH.  Screen Education has been collaborating with Mr. Kraft over the last year on various projects.

In our third session we co-presented again with Mr. Kraft the cutting-edge pedagogical experiments he has been conducting in his class for the last 6 months.  The goal of these experiments is to teach students about smartphone addiction, and to motivate them to curb their phone use.

Screen Education also had an exhibit booth at which we promoted our suite of school seminars, and our research services.

Approximately 4,000 teachers attend OETC each year. The 2019 OETC took place February 12-14 in Columbus, OH.
