Screen Education today conducted 2 teacher workshops during the Westerville, OH, school district's in-service teacher training day.
The workshops covered the mechanisms of smartphone addiction and its consequences, and then provided a framework to help teachers assess their personal motivation for addressing the problem, the level at which they wish to address it, and the techniques they wish to use. The Westerville City School District is located in the Columbus, OH, area that is comprised of 24 schools, 1,000 teachers, and 15,000 students. Barclays Bank today published an equity research report for its institutional investment clients that focuses primarily on research conducted by Screen Education, EMI Research Solutions, and Stark Statistical Consulting.
The report --- published under the category "Sustainable and Thematic Investing", and titled "Smartphone Addiction: The Gen Z Backlash" --- is centered around our "Teen Smartphone Addiction National Survey/2018", and draws heavily from our webinar titled "Gen Z And The Backlash Against Smartphone Addiction", which was published in June. The Barclays report includes an extensive infographics review of the survey's findings, along with a transcript of an interview with Michael Mercier, Screen Education's President, on how the backlash against smartphone addiction may impact Gen Z. The report was generated as a service to Barclays' clients and will not be made available to the public. |
